Corky Mattingly

Yakima County Auditor, Yakima

Corky Mattingly has been Yakima County Auditor for five years and is a past president of the County Auditors' State Association. Corky serves on the State Committee for Pension Policy, is a member of the League of Women Voters and Kiwanis Club of Yakima, and has been active with the Democratic Party. She is also a graduate of Leadership Yakima. She is a former Chair and member of the Board of Trustees at Yakima Valley Community College.

Corky previously worked for the YWCA as community relations and development director. She worked for United States Senator Patty Murray for four years representing Central Washington on the Senator's staff. She also worked on United States Senator Maria Cantwell's campaign.

She has a B.A. in English and in Education from Eastern Washington University and a M.Ed. from Heritage University. Corky, 59, is the mother of two grown daughters: KC Mattingly-Nelson and Jess Mattingly and the grandmother of Sadie and Jack Nelson.
