Washington Women's History Consortium

Women's History Consortium

Associate Partner: Everett Public Library

The Snohomish County Women's Legacy Project began in 1998 as a group of volunteers to begin researching, interviewing and writing about Snohomish County women. The Project seeks to honor our foremothers by recording and sharing their personal histories, their ability to adapt to the forces of change and their constant vigilance as stewards of the diverse cultures of our society.

Materials digitized for searching have been drawn from the library's Northwest Room, partnering institutions and individuals may feature the work of a particular photographer or a subject important to the study and enjoyment of Everett and Snohomish County history. You can learn more about the group and read some of their stories online at snocoheritage.org.
