Grant awards for processing women’s history materials:

Through grant allocations WHC Partners are processing collections for addition to the WHC website. The grant guidelines specified that existing collections would be processed to create finding aids and/or digitized images as web ready elements for the Women's History Consortium website. The applications specified that the projects were to be related to at least one of five themes related to the WHC legislative mandate: Women's Suffrage in Washington; Women's Rights Movement of the Late 20th Century; Elected Washington Women; Women's Clubs and Organizations; and Expanding Participation of Women in Modern Society.

Grant allocation:
The Evergreen State College, did not submit an application for funding.

Collections

The Evergreen State College will be contributing objects to the Women's History Consortium from the following collections:

  • Washington State Folklife Council Project Archive
  • Peoples of Washington exhibit
  • Jolene Unsoeld papers
  • Women Faculty/Administrators personal papers relating to work at The Evergreen State College
