Women's History Consortium Resource Shelf
In researching women's history, we are uncovering a mostly still-to-be-told story, that of everyday women's lives in our Evergreen State. The Women's History Consortium attempts to bring together diverse paths to finding primary resources about Washington women. By tapping the collections of Washington State musuems, libraries, and historical societies, large and small, we hope to assist you in your own effort to tell the story of women's history. We hope the following research resources, tools and tips will aid your search.

Writings

This resource hopes to provide a table of contents to the various written sources of information obtained by the WHC. These sources include articles or excerpts from journals, newspaper clippings, and books.

Biographical

The WHC Biographies section attempts to organize source information pertaining to specific individuals who have played a role in the history of women in Washington state.

Collections

The WHC Digital Archive serves as the cornerstone to the WHC web site. The Archive houses all the digital assets contributed by Consortium participants. The collections can be browsed individually or searched as an aggregate.

Events

The Events section organize the activities and accomplishments of women in Washington state by date.

Web Resources

The Web Resources section provides links to other web sites organized around the WHC Themes. It is hoped that these links will provide information to researchers that enhances the source materials made available on the WHC site.
